The College works exactly according to the schedule served by the Acharya Nagarjuna University and the A.P. State Government. The activities of the College include curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

1.CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES: Activities pertaining theory and practicals involve in curricular activities.

a.)THEORY:Regular theory classes are conducted all through the year. The syllabus is completed well in advance so that sufficient time can be available for revIsion.Weekly seminars are conducted in all the subjects and every student-teacher gets opportunity to participate in the seminar atleast 3 or 4 times.Guest lectures,which are practically useful to the student-teachers, are also arranged. These lectures are given by senior and eminent resource persons.

           Two mid-term exam inations are conducted exactly on the University examination pattern. For the second mid-term examination proper time intervals (4-5 days) are given between the papers so that the student-teachers can concentrate only on a particular subject during that each given interval.On seeing the performace of the student-teachers in these two examinations the Principal and the Staff provide proper counseling for needy students and encourage them. Finally, pre-final exam inations are conducted before the last instruction day. The question papers for these pre-final exam inations are set by the senior lecturers of other Colleges. This is done with a view that the students should get exposed to the way of questioning different from that of their own lecturers.

           Again the Principal and the teaching staff provide counseling for the needy student-teachers after the pre-final examinations.Thus, the students-teachers are made confident to face their final examinations as they get exposed to various lectures. sem inars. guest lectures and examinations.

b.)PRACTICALS: The practicals involve:
1.  5 rounds of teaching practiclas under the supervision of the concerned Lecturers in each methodology.
2. 15 Lessons are taught in each methodology in their internship. The teaching staff are kept on regular duties to inspect the students­teacher' internship.
3. Preparation of the following Project works:

iv)Health and Physical Education Project
v)Com puter Education Project
vi)School Studies Project
vii)Personality Development Project

The student-teachers are well-guided in the preparation of these projects. Every minute detail is meticulously attended in the preparation of these project works. Since it inception the college has been producing the best projects in the University.

2. CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES: The Co-Curricular activities include:
a). WORK EXPERIENCE (SUPW)
b). PHYSICAL EDUCATION
c). PREPARATION OF TEACHING LEARNING MATERIAL (TLM)

a). WORK EXPERIENCE (SUPW):Some of the student-teachers are skilled in various work-experience activities and some other student-teachers pick-up various such skills through the work experience training in the College. A Lecturer (preferably a female), who is well experienced in this aspect, is kept in-charge of the work experience training. The student-teachers are taught how to make soft toys, soaps, detergents, bamboo baskets, som e showy articles from useless household things etc. They are also given training in handiworks like embroidery, dress-making etc. They are provided with embroidery sewing machines and all the needed articles (kits) for that.

b). PHYSICAL EDUCATION:The student-teachers are taught to conduct assembly of the School. Every morning 6 student-teachers take the responsibility of conducting assembly in the college and thereby every student-teacher gets m any opportunities to conduct assem bly. Thus they get exposed and get acquainted with the conduct of assem bly.They are also given training in m arch past. various gMl es and sports. The Physical Education Laboratory is well equipped so that the students get advantage of the Physical Education Activities.

The student-teachers are also taught the measurements and patterns of the courts pertaining to various games and they are also made to draw them repeatedly so that they can get acquainted with the rules of the games and the measurements of the courts. All this is done with a view that these student-teachers of the college of education should be benefited from them and they in turn will be able to conduct games/assem bly/sports in the schools where they get employed.

c). PREPARATION OF TEACHING- LEARNING MATERIAL:The student-teachers are well guided by the lecturers in preparing and adapting useful and suitab Ie TLM in their teaching. The teach ing staff never get com prom ised with nom inal teaching aids. So the student-teachers are always set on alert regarding the preparation of teaching-learning material. At present the college has a wonderful exhibition of the TLM the student-teachers made so far.

A competitive  spirit is created among the  student-teachers in preparation of TLM so that they think creatively and make the TLM using their creativity. This makes them interested in their teaching and the pupils also pay interest to listen to student-teacher' lessons and get benefited.

3. EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES: The student-teachers. who are interested, are guided and set to gardening. They are guided in decorative gardening as well as kitchen-gardening. As the students of this College are women, they take a lot of interest in gardening.
